Simon Sun, CEO of Huawei Malaysia, underscored the company’s dedication to supporting Malaysia’s green energy progress. He discussed the upcoming era of PV and Energy Storage (PV+ESS) parity, where integrating solar power and energy storage will become the most cost-effective and widespread energy solution. Simon remarked, “As the efficiency of PV energy generation improves and solar panel costs decrease due to increased market supply, the era of PV+ESS parity is approaching. FusionSolar, which integrates battery and solar technologies, is set to become a preferred choice, reducing reliance on diesel generators and mitigating both economic and environmental impacts.”

The solution’s C2C dual-link safety architecture ensures comprehensive safety from cell to consumption, providing robust protection for commercial and industrial ESS applications.

In addition to the FusionSolar C&I OASIS Solution, Huawei showcased new products including the C&I SUN2000-150K and SUN5000-150K inverters and the advanced C&I Hybrid Cooling ESS LUNA2000-215 series. Zhang Qiwei, Marketing Orientation Director of C&I Smart PV Business at Huawei Digital Power, highlighted the significance of the safety features in these new products. “We are introducing two new high-capacity inverters and a hybrid cooling ESS with advanced safety features. The new inverters include SafeLink, ProfiLink, and Smartlink, while the C&I ESS features C2C dual-link safety and lower LCOS,” Zhang explained. These innovations offer improved energy yields, simplified installation, and enhanced O&M experiences.
